The call to service some in many forms even to one person. You did not just choose your career by throwing a dart on a dart board! You may be on your first second or third service career as you’ve adapted to life. No matter the number it’s still service.

Emergencies happen where lives can be changed, lost or saved. The call comes in and you rush towards the danger. You’ve seen things that people should never have to. You do this to save lives and help people. You’ve been highly trained to do what you do and work hard at seeing what happens and foreseeing what could to make sure things go right and lives are saved. Compared to that dealing with money can seem trivial and boring or like a mystery because it’s a different skill set or not a priority.

So why the emergency in separate letters? Because each emergency can have many moving parts you make come together for a good outcome.

Your money also has moving parts. You can start to put together a successful outcome with your money: NAME IT for one or more people you are for. If you have a family then you could name each part you want to be successful with for one of them.

“But I’m single!” you say. No problem.

Think about someone or more than one person who has influenced you, would want you to be successful and you don’t want to disappoint. Take a few minutes. You’ll know when you react to the name. That’s who you name your money goals. It doesn’t matter if they are still with you or not. Think of this as a way to honor them. If you have a picture of them, put it somewhere you’ll see it every day to inspire you.

How much of a priority is helping that person or those people now? You are serving them. It doesn’t matter a lick if the outside world gets it: you and the people you care about get it. Faith matters. Your family matters. You matter.
